Match Importances

What is this?
The following tables give a rough idea of how important a given match is to a player's final ranking in the league. A higher number means that the match is a larger impact on that player's final ranking, while a lower number means less of an impact. An empty cell means that the match has absolutely no impact on the possible rankings of that player.

In addition, the impacts are summed for each match to give an idea of the relative importance of each match to the entire league, rather than just for a specific player.
How is it calculated?
For each match, the six possible outcomes (3-0, 3-1, etc.) are each analysed and data such as for the Playoff Scenarios is generated. These distributions for each player are then run through a Jensen–Shannon divergence calculation which produces the numbers you see here. The base used for the Shannon Entropy calculation is 2.
